Who we are

KNIK was Alaska’s first FM radio station and one of the first stations in the nation to begin what is now known as “Smooth Jazz”. The station is recognized by Radio & Records, Billboard Magazine and The Gavin Report as a leader in the “Smooth Jazz” format.

The KNIK listener tends to be an active, involved consumer with diverse interests. Scoring off the board in virtually all athletic pursuits, our listeners enjoy an array of sporting interests that often go hand-in-hand with an upscale lifestyle.
